- with transferable skills / relevant industry
- get your step in with something small (low salary, consulting projects, contractor, etc.)
2. When in a new position, figure out what's the success KPI for the new position
3. Constantly ask for quick feedback of 5 min
4. If with bad boss, 3 choices:
- talk with boss and escalating if needed
- pivot to another boss/department
- look for a new job
5. Depersonalized in hard conversation, and focus on things that you can grow
6. Weakness: skill gap - learn, talent gap - team up with someone can make it up
7. Find your supporting small cohort in workplace, starting by finding those sharing interests
8. Apitite for learning, follow smart minds; show learning regardless of age
